Commercial insurance pricing evidence

One benchmark. Built from more than one source.

Choose a commercial coverage line, including cyber, and add basic account context. When the evidence supports it, Hedge publishes one reconciled annual benchmark plus a separate view of market direction. Private first-party evidence helps calibrate the range but never appears on the page.

Build one clear market view.

Select the line first, then add the account context you want carried into the view. The output remains one reviewed benchmark, with public calibration and market direction kept visibly separate.

Industry, revenue, and limit provide account context. They do not mechanically scale the reviewed benchmark.

How to read the index

Evidence in. One range out.

The index is built to provide useful commercial pricing context without turning unlike sources into false precision or exposing Hedge's private book.

Context, not terms

The benchmark is not a quote, offer, rate filing, eligibility decision, binder, coverage commitment, or proof of market access. Account facts and the authorized market's written terms control.

01

One published range

Private first-party evidence is a calibration input, never a second public range.

02

Private inputs stay private

The public file contains no first-party sample size, cohort cell, source-specific private range, exact count, market identity, timestamp, or row-level record.

03

Sources keep their meaning

Cost studies, renewal surveys, forecasts, and government indices retain their own populations, periods, and definitions.

04

Evidence must clear the bar

If comparable evidence cannot support a rounded low-to-high annual range, the page says so instead of filling the gap.

All lines of coverage

Every line is visible. Evidence gaps stay visible too.

16 of 26 lines currently have a reviewed annual benchmark. The remaining lines retain their public directional evidence until a defensible range can be published.
