How to use this index, and what each class page covers.
By category first. Property & Casualty, Professional, Management, Specialty. then alphabetically within each. Every class page tells you whether we write it (Yes/Edge/No), the ideal risk profile, edge cases that need extra detail, the lines and limits we would quote, the subjectivities we need to bind, and the NAICS codes.
Because the risk profile is right for us but the specific submission needs more detail. a permit, an incident log, a security plan, or a state-specific endorsement. We will still quote case by case.
Yes. NAICS codes are a starting point, not the rule. We underwrite the actual operations. If the description matches what we have written on the class page, the file is in scope regardless of the code your AMS pulled.
Email submissions@hedgespecialty.com with a one-line description. If it is adjacent to a class we already write, we will quote. If it is genuinely out of scope, we will point you to a wholesaler who handles it.
Quarterly. Each page carries a Last Reviewed date. Big shifts (a new state launch, a class moving from Edge to Yes, or vice versa) are reflected within a week and announced to appointed agencies by email.
